Experience Bali
with Sacred Sites International
Travel with a small group of
6-12 people to explore Bali-Hindu sacred places, ceremonies, healers, sacred
dances and arts on this 14-day tour with native guide, Mad Surya, Board
Member of non-profit preservation organization, Sacred Sites International.
Surya, the eldest son of a Bali-Hindu priest, received advanced religious
training at an early age, making him uniquely qualified to share his
religious and cultural traditions. Surya is an accomplished dancer and
carver and has been leading tours of Bali for 26 years with his wife, Judy
Slattum, author of The Masks of Bali.

villages, religion, history, culture, arts, temple systems, make temple
offerings, visit dance schools & attend performances
- Visit guide’s
family home & temple complex & share a meal with them
- Participate in a
purification ritual
- Optional 3-day
extension to visit World Heritage Site, Borobudur & Prambanan

Past donations include: Hotevilla Hopi school for the perpetuation of traditional culture; the Sandoval Pueblos and Friends of the Albuquerque Petroglyphs for the campaign to prevent highways through sacred fields of petroglyphs; Yucatec Mayan Indians to support their environmental preserve.
